January 4, 2018 | Happy New Year! (Part 2)

Friends and neighbors:

With wet weather arriving, our energetic volunteer maintenance chief Scott Dunlap (that’s him above) went ahead and took down all the holiday decorations on and around the fountain Wednesday morning, so the island is back to its simply beautiful self for another year. We hope you enjoyed the annual decorations as much as we did.

With better weather expected this weekend, volunteers will be out starting around 9 a.m. Saturday morning (Jan. 6) to do our monthly sprucing up of The Circle and Fountain Walk. You are welcome to join us this Saturday or any first Saturday. Just find one of our volunteer coordinators, Steve or Jim, near the northwest corner of Marin and Los Angeles and sign up to help weed, rake, sweep, etc. for an hour or two. Thanks.
