March 25, 2015 | THIRTY-SIXTH DAY – FOUNTAIN REPAIRS

Leave your thoughts | Categorised in:

Today was the thirty-sixth day of the repairs to the fountain. Here is what was done, followed by some photos:

City Electrical Department “unlocked” the circuit breaker box that provides electricity to operate the fountain.

City Parks Department staff ran the pumps to see if everything was working as planned. It was discovered that there was sediment and debris still left in the plumbing lines, even though staff had removed as much as they possibly could.

The plan now is to remove as much debris through the filters as possible, and then flush the plumbing, and then test the system again.

We are getting VERY close to seeing our magnificent fountain operating again. How wonderful it will be to have it running!

Thank you for your patience, and for your help in making this happen. Please follow my progress reports. Scroll down on this blog for details on the work and why it’s needed.
