May 30, 2025 | Fountain Dry For a Bit

Friends and neighbors:

The Fountain at The Circle will not be flowing for a few days while we work with the city’s Public Works department to make some long-needed repairs. The opportunity to get to the repairs arose this week when someone(s) put soap in the fountain, requiring us to drain it.

We hope it will be back up and running very soon. Thanks.

Thank you for repairing the lovely fountain. The evil people who put soap into the fountain need to be caught so we can pour some soap down their throats and then have them scrub the fountain. Yes, they need to be caught and punished!

Appreciate your passion, Barbara. We don’t think the vandals are evil, more like impetuous and thoughtless. But the result is the same, of course. They had better hope you don’t catch them in act, though. 🙂

I live on the Arlington and I appreciate the work your organization does so very much. Thank you, Bill Seidel

Thank you for your service to the neighborhood. When my two grandchildren (six and four) visit, one of their highlights is driving around the circle to look at the fountain. They always beg me to go around “one more time please.”

Thanks, Jane. Hoping it will be flowing for your grandkids’ enjoyment again very soon.

Thank you for all you do. As a 20 plus year resident, we value the hard work it takes to maintain the fountain and certainly appreciate its welcoming beauty every time we come home.
