Looking for fountain-themed gifts? The following vendors donate a portion of their sales to Friends of the Fountain and Walk. Please patronize them and show your support for FOFW.
“The Chanukah Bears of Marin Circle”
Circle neighbor and writer Hope Alper’s children’s book, with illustrations by Jennifer Silverman, tells a magical tale about how the fountain bears started wearing kipots, or yarmulkes, during the holidays. It’s on sale at a number of local stores, but if you contact Hope directly by email at hopeworkspr@pacbell.net, she will donate a portion of that sale to FOFW. Cost: $12 plus shipping.
Ira Serkes Photography
For Ira, a Berkeley real estate agent, photography is his avocation. His wide-ranging work includes several lovely images of the Fountain at The Circle and its signature grizzly bear cubs. Ira generously donates all profits from sales of his fountain photos to FOFW to support its work. You can find and purchase them here: https://serkes.smugmug.com/Berkeley/Marin-Circle-Fountain
Steven Jenner Photography
Steve is a terrific local photographer whose fountain-related work is featured on notecards and magnets — some of them holiday-themed featuring the fountain’s bear cubs. You can view them on his website. Then click on the “Store” link on that page to find out what local stores carry them. Go to: https://localcolorcards.com/EAST_BAY_CITIES__Local_Color_Cards.html
