February 17, 2015 | SEVENTEENTH DAY – FOUNTAIN REPAIRS

Today was the seventeenth day of the repairs to the fountain. Here is what was done, followed by some photos:

City Parks Department continued preparing the fountain pool sides where they meet the tiles. They want to make sure that all of the old paint is removed to ensure that the new paint makes a good bond.

They are also removing all of the debris filled water in the inlet, as well as from the niches where the fountain pool lights sit.

Application of the epoxy paint should begin in the next couple days.
